Rescuers are urgently working to locate dozens of missing people after severe flash floods devastated parts of southern and eastern Spain. The floods brought record rainfall levels, with some regions experiencing up to 12 inches in mere hours. Tragically, at least 95 individuals lost their lives, predominantly in Valencia, which suffered the most significant impact. The torrential rains overturned vehicles, flooded highways, and left many individuals seeking refuge on rooftops until rescuers arrived. Search and rescue operations continue in Valencia, Malaga, Castile-La-Mancha, and other affected areas.
